Parents and Teachers Together, for the Oregon Schools our kids deserve.
Decades of underfunding have created a deep crisis for Oregon students and schools. Educators are overloaded, students are falling through the cracks, and our districts don’t have the resources they need. As parents, educators, and community members, we know our students deserve better. Our tax system is too reliant on Oregon families, and it's time for corporations to invest more in our schools.
We’re a group of concerned parents and teachers who know that our students deserve far better than crowded classrooms and shrinking resources. Together, we’re fighting to make sure 2019 is the year that we make big investments in our students by finally funding our schools at adequate levels.
We can’t win major investments in our students without taking action. There are so many ways to get involved, no matter how much time you have to available — email your legislators or school board members, sign up for a lobby day or town hall, or share a message on social media!
Add your name to the growing list of Oregonians urging our legislature to raise the revenue to invest in Oregon students. We need to show our electeds just how many Oregonians are demanding we make strengthening our schools the top priority this year!
Make Your Voice Heard
Send a letter today to your local newspaper. We need to keep telling the story of how our classrooms are in crisis, and how we can fix it. Submitting an opinion piece to your local newspaper can make a big impact.
